Children driven Community Development:	  Chetanalaya has been working with children 
                            in the resettlement colonies for decades. Chetanalaya’s journey with children has gone
                            through different forms and strengths. Chetanalaya has 5 preschools, 12 remedial 
                            education centres, school admission campaigns, sports for development activities, yoga
                            sessions and cultural programmes, helping in availing the scholarships, conducting 
                            science fair, rescuing the child in crisis through Childline 1098 at Mewat District
                            Haryana, Neighbourhood Children Parliament, Time banking and so on. Our interventions
                            cover around 50000 children every year.
                
	 
		
                        Youth Skill Enhancement and Employment:	 Chetanalaya works with youth in the 
                            realm of personality development and skill enhancement. We engage with the youth
                            in the form of Cutting and Tailoring Classes, Beauty Culture Classes, Computer 
                            Education, Dance Classes, Personality Development, life skill trainings, leadership
                            camps, critical thinking, spoken English and short term skills. More than 3000 
                            youth benefit from the community engagement and vocational training programme 
                            every year. The youth are united with the organization and volunteer in different
                            occasions. 
                
	 
		
                        Financial Inclusion and Women Empowerment:	 The greatest strength of Chetanalaya 
                            is women power be it the staff structure or the people we work with. We work with 
                            more than 30000 – 40000 women in Delhi and some districts of Haryana. Chetanalaya 
                            works with women in the form of awareness generation on women rights, domestic violence
                            against women, training on self-defence, Mahila Panchayat, Mobile Help Line-181, 
                            legal and financial training, women entrepreneurship and self help groups.  One 
                            of the flagship programmes of  Chetanalaya is Self Help Groups among women for 
                            the last 3 decades involving around 24000 women with 1600+ SHGs.  
                
	 
		
                        Socio-Economic Protection of the Migrant Workers:	 Chetanalaya closely work with 
                            around 4000 migrant workers in the resettlement colonies of Delhi by helping them avail
                            health benefits, skill enhancement, availing entitlements, financial and legal 
                            awareness among the construction workers, waste collectors, rickshaw pullers and 
                            domestic workers. Chetanalaya has been working with the waste collectors and 
                            domestic workers specifically for decades. 
                
	 
		
Environment Protection:	 When climate crisis is the keyword, Chetanalaya has always taken affirmative
    climate actions in the form of Jute bag promotion, Kitchen Waste Compost Making, Campaigns and awareness on
    environmental degradation (air pollution) and preventive measures, tree plantation, promotion of air purifying
    plants, paper recycling, upcycling, adopting community parks and maintaining, promoting terrace garden, 
    establishing Chetanalaya Environment Education Centre to promote Care of our Common Home, solar energy, 
    and so on.
                
	 
		
Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities:	 Chetanalaya has been promoting community based rehabilitation
    of persons with disability for more than 2 decades through home based rehabilitation, providing aids and 
    appliances, referral services, assisting to avail entitlements, promoting income generating activities 
    and employment, awareness on the rights of PwDs, counseling, SHGs of PwDs and forming Association of 
    Families having Persons with Disability. Around 3000 PWDs are supported every year.
                
	 
		
Share & Care for the Elderly:	 Chetanalaya journeys with more than 800 elderly in the community. The journey
    of Chetanalaya many fold namely we work with the elders in the community through share and care programmes 
    (Birthday Celebration, Day Celebrations, Sports, Singing and so on), Chetanalaya Sewa Sadan: Day Care Centre
    for the Elderly at Sangam Vihar, Chetanalaya Vishesh Gurukul: Home for the Elderly at Bahu Akbarpur, Rohtak
    and Archbishops Angelo-Alan Aid for the Elderly (500/- per month for the poor elderly).
