Education provides foundation for eradicating poverty and fostering economic development. With this view, Chetanalaya promotes education among urban slum dwellers and has well established 12 remedial education centers, 2 creches, 8 pre-schools, 1 library and 1 spoken english class. Overall, more than 2500 children benefit from the institutional support by Chetanalaya every year.

Apart from the institutional support, awareness and development programmes, campaigns and rallies are also conducted to promote education. Sports and cultural programmes are organized to develop the physical, mental and social skills of children. Chetanalaya educational interventions provide children with the support needed to acquire the skills being taught by the educational system and also address the functional skills, academic, cognitive, behavioral, and social skills that directly affect the child's ability to access an education. Chetanalaya educational interventions are a tribute to the future generation by offering empowerment to the underprivileged and opportunities to the marginalized.
